APZ has participated in numerous architectural competitions and has won the following awards:
- City stadium Lapad, Dubrovnik — one of three bought out projects among 32 competition entries
- Business tower Savska-Nova Cesta, Zagreb – architectural competition upon invitation
- Arena Zagreb — poll competition among ten invited Croatian architects
- Urbanistic and architectural design of Zavrtnica city block in Zagreb – 2nd prize
- Urbanistic and architectural competition Blato east
- Kindergarten Borovje — first buyout
- Kindergarden Lanište — 1st prize
- International competition for urban planning of the Marijin Dvor complex, Sarajevo — special recognition within seven best projects among 172 competition entries worldwide
- Design project of public sales facilities for HT — 1st prize
- General hospital in Zabok — 1st prize (realized)
- Headquarters of Zagrebačka banka — 5th Prize
- Catholic Faculty of Theology — 2nd Prize
- Residential and office complex "Solitudo", Dubrovnik — 2nd Prize (realized)
- Military ordinariate of Croatian Army — 1st Prize (realized)
- Residential and office building in Našice — 1st Prize
- Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry — 1st Prize
